ABOUT

Tina Ann Aurora (she/her) is a New York–based performer currently living on Long Island, though she has performed across the country. She began her theatre journey at age six in California and continued performing after her family relocated to Texas during her teen years. In 2019, Tina earned her BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Baylor University before moving to New York City in 2020—just two weeks before the COVID-19 pandemic shut everything down (great timing, right?).

The daughter of a Brazilian immigrant father and an adoptive mother, Tina grew up in a working-class household where theatre was more than entertainment — it was a treasured escape. Her upbringing shaped a lifelong passion for storytelling that bridges generations, cultures, and communities. She believes deeply in the power of storytelling to break down social and economic barriers and strives to make the stage a more accessible, inclusive space for all.

Tina is best known for her performance as Tara in the New York premiere of Half Time the Musical at Theatre Three in Port Jefferson. During the pandemic, she stepped away from the stage briefly to earn her MBA in Marketing at Stony Brook University—because, as Elle Woods would say, “What, like it’s hard?”

Known as a bit of a spitfire, Tina combines a valley-girl aesthetic, Southern charm, and New York hustle to bring every role to life. When she’s not performing, you’ll find her reading, spending time with her pets, or throwing themed parties for her friends and family.
